The maximum range of your hyperspace jump in Elite Dangerous is affected by the total mass of your ship, so removing some cargo will increase your jump range.

Fuel quality also has an effect on the range.

The amount fuel used by a hyperspace jump is determined by three main variables:

• The total mass of your ship (including cargo)
• The class of the hyperspace drive fitted
• The distance of the jump
